Welcome to our Abide Ministries website

Abide Ministries began in 2010, and our mission is to encourage Kingdom advancement for the Body of Christ.  We have hosted Schools of Prayer, Ministry and Leadership in a number of cities and continue to influence others in the ways of the Lord. 

Over the last few years the church, worldwide, has found herself in a season of great transition … and wondering how to proceed.  As a team, Abide has come back to the idea of bringing the Body of Christ to maturity and developing the heart of a leader.  Instead of thinking of leadership as a role to occupy, what if it is about knowing how to BE LED?  With that in mind, we want to introduce Abide Triads.

To participate, you will need to invite two others to join you on this journey.  The triads are an opportunity for the three of you to meet together with the Lord and one another around the scriptures and some significant heart questions.

  • Read scripture –  each time you meet, you will begin by individually reading the listed portion of scripture until the Lord highlights a word or thought to you.  You are reading until the Lord catches your attention, then allowing Him time to speak. 
    • This part may be done before you gather, for the sake of time. 
  • Share and pray – come together as a triad; one person will share where the Lord paused them in the scriptures; the others will listen and then wait for direction from the Lord in how to respond in prayer.  Each of the others will pray from what they heard.
  • Repeat – You will continue around the circle until each one has had the opportunity to share and then be prayed for.  This process is a real delight as we hear the Lord in a corporate setting!
  • Answer questions – the second part of each gathering is built around processing through each of our suggested questions together.  They are aimed at the heart, and create an opportunity for spiritual intimacy and oneness. 

There are twelve topics altogether – each triad may choose to meet for as few as 12 times in total (once per topic), or up to four times per topic for a more in-depth experience.  We hope that you are drawn in and take the time to let each topic make room in your heart.

By the time you finish moving through the topics together, we believe a “church of the heart” will be experienced among you and your hearts will be encouraged.  Our hope and prayer is that once you have processed the topics with one set of companions, each of you will turn around and take a new set of friends through this process.  This is discipleship!
