Daryl Knudeson

Daryl embarked on a real-life adventure when her husband of thirteen years exchanged his pastoral robe for a military uniform and joined the Air Force as an active duty chaplain. Sixteen years, six assignments (and homes), and about three years of living apart due to deployments later–the adventure continues! Sharing ministry in both military and civilian communities has allowed Daryl to experience and develop many roles—mentor, spiritual advisor, teacher, speaker and author. The various assignments have also afforded time to hone new skills in the Spanish language and the arts. She is committed to sharing God’s truth through story, whether written or vocal, is passionate about helping women develop a strong spiritual life and is currently working on a new writing project which involves more story-telling. A founding member of Abide Ministries and a Women’s Rep for International Renewal Ministries, Daryl and Jason share four children, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren—and one mischievous dog named Amigo.
